Formerly known as Sydney Indoor Climbing Gym - Villawood, Elevate Climbing Gym has been welcoming new and experienced climbers onto our walls since 2010.
We’re wildly passionate about fostering curiosity and confidence in our climbers by providing them with a safe space to explore, evolve, and elevate.
With over 250 world-class routes across our 2600 square metres of top rope and bouldering walls, there’s always something for everyone—whether you’ve been climbing for decades or for days.

MEET CARLIE
THE CLIMBER BEHIND THE CLIMBING GYM
As the co-founder of Elevate Climbing Gym, Carlie LeBreton brings over two decades of experience, passion, and commitment to Australia's climbing community.
Starting her climbing journey in her hometown of Wollongong as a young teen, Carlie’s passion and natural talent quickly propelled her to become a six-time National Champion and an International Junior Champion. Over the years, she has continued to excel, setting climbs at the highest level, from National Championships to the IFSC Paraclimbing World Championships.
As the National Head Route Setter and a longtime mentor in the climbing community, Carlie’s impact extends well beyond her impressive climbing achievements. With a deep dedication to fostering an inclusive, inspiring climbing culture, Carlie and her team at Elevate have created a space where climbers of all levels feel at home.
For Carlie, Elevate isn’t just about climbing; it's about building a community, sharing her love for the sport, and encouraging every climber to find joy and challenge in their journey.
